It was just recently that Keta held a spoon and fork for the first time and even more recently that she figured out how to hold them correctly.  She also held a crayon for the first time in her three and half years just a few months ago.  Oh yeah, she spoke Swahili and was abandoned repeatedly etc etc.  Now she’s writing all of the letters of her name, in order.  I’m a little proud.

    I’m so proud of her! The only other little girl I remember being as determined as Keta is her mama. You didn’t have the obstacles she had, but you two remind me so much of each other.
